If I have an hour of Captured Video at about 13GB. When I turn this to an MPEG2 through a Vegas Project, what size will that file be? What about AVI?

No other outside media is added to the Project (Graphics etc.) But I’ve used a lot of Composite Levels on the Track to change between Cam1 and Cam2. And lots of Volume Adjustments on the Track. (I’m not sure if these add to file size.)

    Thank you.

[Rafi Bagramian] “When I turn this to an MPEG2 through a Vegas Project, what size will that file be?”

Depends on your render settings – specifically the bitrate. It could be 4 Gig, it could be 2 Gig. Take a look at Vol 1 #7 of my newsletters.

    It’s already DV-AVI and it’s 13 Gig.

    No they do not.
