  1.333 vs 1.4568

  hi,
  I’m shooting on a Panasonic HDC-SD1, which makes native footage 1440x1080x32, and its pixel aspect ratio is 1.333

  i want to spit out 16:9 final project from Sony Vegas 8.0

  when i choose a PAL DV Widescreen template, its default has a pixel ratio of 1.4568, so my footage has black bars (pillars) on the left and right-hand sides of playback

  do i need to alter something in there…making the project aspect ratio 1.333 same as my footage?
  or do i have to crop my 1.333 footage to fit 1.4568?

  i cant quite work out which is the right way to go
