13 (!) shots of feature export are wrong frame size
Hey all,
So there’s 13 shots in my feature film export that are coming out a smaller frame size than they should be. These shots used to export properly. I’ve checked the dailies as I had to fix a day of dailies that the previous crew had messed up and it’s not from that day. Nothing changed with these shots since the time they were exporting properly.
So I tried cutting them in again and applying any effects they may have had, some had none, and then exported them as smaller subclips and all was good.
Then I exported the full feature thinking it was going to be hunky dory but no. Same 13 (!) shots were that smaller frame size.
Anyone know what is happening, why it is happening and how to fix it? Or just how to fix it is enough. 😉
If I can’t figure it out I’m just going to export those shots without a watermark, reimport that export and use the QT export clips in the timeline for the full film export. This is fine for my sound turnover and hopefully for festival submissions as well, should be as long as quality holds up.
