12GB Movie to DVD
Hello, I hope some one can help me because I really need some help on this. I have a project which in a little under an hour. When I gp to “export to dvd”, choose the work area it goes through the process but hangs for hours at the last 10% of the progress bar. Has anyone experienced this issue before? I’m a newbie to PP2.

I hope you will find a solution to your problem since I have exactly the same one (see my post dated Oct. 16). I think that it might be related to the fact that the files of my project are on the same hard disk as Adobe Premiere. This results perhaps in too many simultaneous disk accesses that the processor cannot manage.

All my project files are on a external 500GB firewire Lacie HD. The odd thing is if I choose to export the project in 10 minutes increments it burns fine. I can’t figure out how to get it to burn the full 60 minute project. For my encoding I have it set to – NTSC, 720X480, 29.97, no drop frames, lower, quality 5.0, 48KHz, 16 bit, stereo, PCM, CBR, 7.00 mbs. I hope someone can help.

I’m still having this problem and it’s becoming extremely frustrating. Can anyone suggest anything?
