1280×720 animated film
I am working on a animated film with a 1.78 aspect ratio at true 24 frames, I need help on what settings I need to use to acheive this. Is it possible to view on a ext. monitor as well.

To view it on an external monitor, you need a capture card capable of the resolution you are using for your animation. Best bet would be to buy a capture card and render your footage to one of it’s supported codecs.
Check Decklink and AJA products.
