The footage in my sequence are 1280×1080, 29.97 (24P) and i need to output my sequence to a full raster, DnxHD.

Does 1280×1080, 29.97 (24P) mean it’s a progressive cadence recorded over interlaced frame ?? if so , then i should export this as 23.976, right ??? Should i worry about artifacts coming from having to do proper pull down ? Thanks

Actually, not true….after further testing i found that 1280×1080, 29.97 (24P) means 29.97 with a 24p look….so one must output as interlaced 29.97. Talk about confusing all these dumb thin raster p2 format!!!!
