    Dear editors,

With my EX1r i shot footage in the PAL 1280p50 format with the intent to slow part of it down.
I have mpegstreamclipped the batch to Prores HQ and Cinema tooled it to 25fps for what i thought would be regular speed.
It is not. The footage plays too quickly.

When I import it in FCP and slow it down to 50% it plays far too slow.
When I slow it to about 88% it’s almost the rights speed (judging by the audio) but still not quite.

I hope someone can tell me where i go wrong in my workflow and thinking… This is my first attempt to slow things down.
I just want everything to play at normal speed, but be able to slow things down when needed.

Thank you so much in advance!

When you conform (CinemaTools) p50 to p25, the picture will play at 50% speed.
If you slow it down in FC to a 50%, will play at 25% of the speed.
If this is not like that, make sure that the Prores files have been properly conformed.
Open the QT Info window, and make sure that they show 25fps.
