1280 x 720 MPEG-2
How do you create a m2t file that is 720p instead of 1080p? Do you use the MainConcept template:
Blu-ray 1920×1080-60i, 25 Mbps video stream
(or one of the other 1080 templates) and change the width/height to be 1280 x 720 and then save it as a new template?Thanks.

Vegas Pro 10 has an HDV 720-30p template for MPEG2 already. If you’re not using Vegas Pro 10, then yes, just change a 1080i template to be 720p and save it for future use.
