1200 deck and hdv?
Will the 1200 deck play HDV-shot video on mini-dv tapes using a mini-dv casette adapter?

YOu need to use the same brand name deck as the camera you used. If you shot with a Sony camera, it must be a Sony deck. JVC requires JVC. This is because HDV formats differ between all manufactures.
And HDV is in no way DVCPRO HD.
