After spending a lot of time to originally configure 2x1980i Viewsonic displays with a Samsung HD monitor out via HDMI, which I accomplished using one DVI adapter and one mini display port to Dual link DVI adapter(for power) I just installed 10.9.3 and I can only get two of the monitors. They come up in a random way, different with each restart and now AV output in FCPX 10.1.1 is now greyed out.

Didn’t someone once say ” Never install an update without checking it out first”.

Can anyone offer guidance to this poor fool.

What happens when you open the Displays preferences and reset the proper video out/refresh settings?

If the hDMI cable is in, it defaults to that display and one other…it won’t use two Dvi displays now, so I unplug the HDMI, restart and I have the two DVI but no HDMI. The settings and resolutions and unaffected. I am going to use the Time Machine and restore my system to 10.9.2
