  1080p output to 1080i

  Not sure if this has been answered before, but…..

  I am working with footage shot on RED, ingested as Apple ProRes HQ @ 23.98 fps.

  My sequence settings are:
  2048 x 1152 Custom 16:9
  Square Pixels
  23.98
  Apple ProRes 422(HQ)

  I have a KONA 3 card.

  I need to deliver HD for broadcast at 1080i on DVCPRO HD tape. Can I use the KONA to convert from 1080p to 1080i as I record to the deck or should I use something else to do the conversion to interlaced? 59.94? 29.97? Help!
