1080i to 720p downconvert issues

FCS2 actually does, and does a pretty darn good job, not up to G’s standards filters or a piece of dedicated hardware, but pretty darn good.

I tested a 1080 60i > 720p24 and was amazed how much better than Compressor 2 was.

I’ll have to try when I get home. I tested PAL to NTSC and NTSC to PAL and it was just the same “drop the frames” conversion FCP has always had.
