in the office with my son messing with the settings on our hvx200 1080 24p. my understanding is you shouldn’t have alot of quick motion on this setting however i didn’t expect for it to look this bad after i compressed it from FCP.. https://homepage.mac.com/altinolovin/jakob.mov very strobey and interlaced look.. Someone please answer how to correctly edit this footage iv been trying and creating new sequences to edit in 24p but after import it only seems to work render free in the 1080i60 timeline, iv played with speed it look worst slowed down even at 90% . every other setting seem awsome.

    thanks in advance

Someone else may answer this better then me. But if you shot in 24p not pn then you are supposed to have the 1080i60 setting in your settings. The camera is doing the 3:2 pull down and to fit it into a 60 frame stream. If you want a true 24p then you need to shoot 24PN. that will give you only the 24 framers per second. The way you shot it gove it the feel of 24p with in the 60 frame stream.

So what you see is right with the interlacing.

I hope I got that right.
