  1080 2398p to 720x480i

  Hey everyone,

  I’m having a bit of a dilemma. I need to deliver a spot that was cut at 1080 23.97p as a 720x480i mpeg-2. we usually deliver a 720x486i QT, and I was able to make that and it looks great through our broadcast monitor, but no matter how I make the 480i, when we play it through the monitor we get fielding issues. Could it be that the Kona 3G when set to 525i 29.97 won’t properly display 480i, or am I missing something?
