  10.3.9 Core Audio problem

  None of the applications that can use the CoreAudio in OSX (Itunes, Quicktime, BiasPeak etc) will open since I upgraded from 10.3.4 to 10.3.9. Does this make sense to anyone? Can I download some kind of software to aid in this problem?
