10.3 Audio playback issues
Hi,
I’m still learning the new 10.3 and have a question.
When I drop certain ‘Sound Design sound fx’ into the timeline,
they do not play back on my MacBook Pro. Now when I look at them,
it appears they are ‘5.1 surround’ files. I’m assuming my MacBook Pro
cannot play them back, because when I play them, I cannot hear anything
although the audio meters are bouncing. But even when I switch the pan
mode to ‘stereo left/right’ I can’t hear them.
I’ve also went in and changed the audio configuration in the inspector from ‘5.1 Surround’
to ‘3 Stereo’ or ‘6 mono’ and none of this work. When I say they don’t work, I mean
I can’t hear them on my MacBook Pro, but they are there as the audio meters are
bouncing. Any ideas?Gabe Strong

In the Project Settings, check the Audio Channel configuration. Make sure it is set to Stereo.
