Hi. I have an interview shot on the 100A in 24p mode. When I pop it into my DSR-80 it plays back fast – fast motion, TC flies by, audio non-existent. At first, I thought I had recorded on the 100A in LP mode (it seems to jump to this setting on its own sometimes, but that’s for another post), but when I put it back into the camera it says it’s SP mode. Anyone else have this problem or have a suggestion to fix it? Currently, I’m planning on going from the 100A to a DSR-50 via Firewire for a new tape.

    Thanks.

Nevermind – I found the problem. I just installed a Contour ShuttlePRO that I’ve had laying around for over a year. The software to set the buttons was still open and it was somehow causing the deck to act up. Closed the ap and everything works fine.
