10.0.6 and broadcast cards
Posted by Oliver Peters on October 25, 2012 at 1:25 amAny compatibility issues with this update and the various hardware cards? I know Matrox already is a no-go. What about AJA or BMD?

October 25, 2012 at 1:48 amI had a good long go with an AJA Kona 3 today.
Even a few driver version backed seemed to be working.
I reinstalled the latest drivers, and everything was working well.
On the whole, things seem much snappier than in previous versions.

October 25, 2012 at 1:59 amAgreed. Latest version of AJA drivers with Kona 3 is very stable. And agreed it feels snappier.

October 25, 2012 at 5:25 amIO XT works well too. I upgraded the driver to 10.4.1 before doing the FCPX upgrade.

October 25, 2012 at 6:00 pmNo problems with my BMD Intensity Pro. It even keeps in sync with audio being pushed out via line out to an amp/speakers, something FCP 7 and Premiere have had issues with regard to frame offset.
