Maybe it’s another stupid question for most of you, bu I hope you consider that it’s my first time with Blackmagic stuff. I am getting just cross-dissolves and color correction 3-way effects using the Blackmagic NTSC 10-bit easy setup. Using the BM 8-bit easy setup, I have just a proxy of the color correction. Fortunately, with DV projects and BM NTSC DV easy setup I get almost everything in realtime. Should I have more realtime effects in 8bit and 10-bit or things really work like that? My current configuration:
    G5 dual 2GHz
    1.5GB RAM
    Decklink Extreme
    Sonnet Tempo-X SATA card
    Macguru’s SATA 4-drive array with 1.2TB
    Thank’s for any help!

I just had to change the System Settings Effect Handling of Uncompressed 8-bit and 10-bit to Final Cut Pro HD setting. It works much better than the Blackmagic SD setting. Wow, now I got many more things in real time. Great!
