Douglas had answered a previous question, but the project window leaves me with 1 more question… ???

This was a setting suggested for rendering video for streaming applications:

in my project settings I choose:

    field order: none (progressive scan)

    what about de-interlace method?

    of which i see

    1. blend and
    2 interpolate fields

Are these project settings I should use globally or only when rendering for streaming media application and other delivery.

If the frames are predominantly static, ie; headshots, then Blend should be used. If they’re predominantly high motion, then use Interpolate.
