Simple question but having a difficult time finding the answer. Is anyone able to tell me approximately how much an h264 file expands when converted to prores 422

    1 gig h264 video file = ?? gig prores 422 video file

    thanks

Pro Res 422 1080i 30 is approx. 79gb per hour. It makes no difference whether you’re transcoding from an h.264 file, a 5k RED file, or and uncompressed file.
