+1 frame offset on Linked Comp when „Replace With After Effects Composition” is selected on 24p GH2 footage
I know this is very specific, maybe someone has experienced it and knows how to help.
There’s a +1 frame offset when „Replace With After Effects Composition” is being selected on Panasonic GH2 24p footage. Any other frame rate or other camera footage, I have found on my drives, works. I do not have 24p from a different camera.
For example I have a 10 frame footage I am replacing with AE comp. In Ae I can see a 10 frame footage. What I see back in Pr is a linked 10 frame Ae comp with a one frame offset. The fist frame is displayed as a first and as a second frame, the tenth frame is gone.
This is causing problems with animating a matte. The animation is done with properly displayed frames in Ae. In Pr the keyframes are applied to the corresponding frames (first to first etc.), but they are ofsetted by one, so the matte doesn’t match. 😐
I could shorten the imported comp by one frame at the beginning, and then expand it by one frame at the end. Then I would have to ofsett all the keyframes in Ae by one, so the matte looks good in Pr even though it won’t look good any more in Ae.
Help will be very much appreciated
