Ending a Loop Expression in After Effects

This question comes up quite a bit on forums and it seems to trip people up: “how can you have a loop expression (either LoopIn or LoopOut) and then end the loop so that your animation continues on its way”? Or put another way: “How do you break out of a loop in After Effects?”

Well there’s not one answer, there’s at least 4 depending how you count it, or possibly 5 or maybe 6 if you’re being generous. In this video, I show you all the methods I can think of.
