Week 1: The Art of the Title In this session, we’ll go through some of the basic theories behind film title design and rules used in title composition, including how you can use Cinema 4D’s preferences to assist in title design as well as some of the fundamental building blocks you should keep in mind when using splines and extruded type.

Week 2: Using Materials, Sculpting Brushes and Redshift in Title Creation In this second session, we’ll look at how we can use Cinema 4D’s built in materials and sculpting tools to enhance the realism of your titles, including the best tips for working with materials and text, including essential techniques for Redshift.

Week 3: Title Animation in Cinema 4D In the third session, we’ll investigate how animation plays a fundamental role in the language of title design, including breaking down some of the key tools Cinema 4D has for assisting with title animation.

Week 4: Rendering Titles for After Effects In the fourth session, we’ll look at multiple ways to export titles out of Cinema 4D. This includes tips for Cineware and AEC multipass workflows, as well as exporting multiple title variations with the Take Manager.

Week 5: Compositing Titles in After Effects This session is all about compositing titles in After Effects, featuring some of our favorite tools, including timesaving techniques from Universe and VFX Suite.
