Colorist Andre Rivas Joins Picture Shop

Colorist Andre Rivas has joined the award-winning artists at Picture Shop. Rivas, whose recent credits include the groundbreaking Sphere presentation of Darren Aronofsky’s “Postcard From Earth,” has nearly 20 years of experience in post production.

“We are delighted to welcome Andre to the Picture Shop family,” said Picture Shop President Cara Sheppard. “His artistry and experience will serve our goal of continuing to provide industry-leading picture finishing services to creative clients around the world.”

Rivas, who was at Company 3 prior to joining Picture Shop, has wide-ranging credits that include theatrical, broadcast, special exhibition, as well as independent work that has screened at Sundance, Tribeca, Cannes and Outfest film festivals. His work can be seen in “Fast X,” “F9: The Fast Saga,” “Lovely, Dark and Deep,” “Scream VI: 3D,” and NBC’s “The Endgame,” among many others.

“It’s exciting to join the distinguished talent roster at Picture Shop,” said Rivas. “This is the perfect environment to help filmmakers achieve their visual storytelling goals.”

In addition to its Los Angeles facilities, Picture Shop locations include New York, Toronto, and Vancouver with international locations in the UK that include London, Manchester, Bristol, Wales and Pinewood Studios.

Picture Shop’s recent credits include Disney’s live-action feature “The Little Mermaid,” Sony Pictures’ “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse,” Netflix’s “One Piece,” and Peacock’s “The Continental: From the World of John Wick.”
