Following the successful debut of its flagship remote camera control device, bitbox, motion picture connectivity company Bit Part today unveiled the bitbox mini (West Hall, booth #W4143U). The all new bitbox mini provides film technicians with the same long-range camera control as the original bitbox, now in the smallest and lightest form factor on the market. bitbox mini is ideal for cinematographers, digital imaging technicians (DITs), camera assistants, and broadcast engineers who require powerful & compact remote camera control at a more accessible price point.
Whether dealing with a stage or a harsh location, bitbox mini can remotely control filters, camera settings, live color grading and more in virtually any environment. Its compact size still maintains the impressive operational range and ease of use that made the original bitbox an instant favorite among film professionals.

bitbox mini offers many of the same features as the original including a quick, push-button interface, zero configuration setup, and the distinction of being the only FCC-certified 900MHz camera control solution on the market. Unlike comparable solutions constructed from consumer-grade plastics, bitbox mini features an eco-friendlier enclosure made from 60% post-consumer recycled plastic designed for sustainability and durability.
bitbox mini serves as a “remote” unit, designed to pair seamlessly with an original bitbox acting as a “base” unit. This reduces the cost of a two-camera setup significantly, making best-in-class wireless control accessible for productions of all sizes. bitbox mini units will be available for reservation during the show and are expected to ship later this year.
