Archiware Showcases Partner Integrations with P5 Version 7.2 at NAB 2024

Archiware GmbH, expert in data management software, showcases numerous partner integrations at its NAB Show booth SL6037. Live demonstrations of solutions with Archiware P5 version 7.2 include ATTO, DataIntell, MagStor, QNAP, Sonnet, SYMPLY, and UNITEX.

Archiware’s P5 Archive, P5 Backup, and P5 Synchronize modules are streamlined through integrations with a plethora of hardware and software partners that are featured at NAB Show 2024. Hosted at the Archiware booth, DataIntell’s state-of-the-art storage analytics software ensures unparalleled transparency by identifying redundant data for archiving via P5 Archive. This allows users to take control and optimize costs in the long-term.

Setups with tape library vendors enable data to be managed effortlessly from a workstation-class machine, enhancing accessibility and ease of operation. Archive to LTO tape using P5 Archive is demonstrated utilizing the SymplyPRO Thunderbolt LTO drive, seamlessly integrated with a Mac. For an intuitive, robust, and scalable solution, MagStor’s SAS LTO drive is connected to a Mac running Archiware P5 via the ATTO SAS to 10GB Ethernet Bridge and the Sonnet Thunderbolt to 10GB Ethernet.

A practical solution combining LTO tape and NAS is exhibited through the integration with QNAP and UNITEX. With a maximum read and write speed of up to 300MB/s, the tape drive by UNITEX allows for a flexible integration with QNAP NAS and Archiware P5 through its dual SAS and USB interface. Beyond efficiency and speed in acquiring and sharing data, this setup offers a comprehensive and future-proof is data management strategy.
