Vegas 9 Blury Motion Clips
The original copy of the file is always clear but when I cut a clip and insert into highlights the motion on the video becomes blury. Still pictures from the original video are clear.

It sounds like it might be a mismatch in the framerate between your project and the footage. Make sure that your project framerate (in the project properties) matches your footage. Otherwise Vegas will re-time the footage to match the project which may cause a blending of frames and the blurriness you are seeing.
