  • Any way to “Lock” or “Protect” a track to prevent erroneous activity?

In VEGAS PRO 9, is there any way to “Lock” or “Protect” a track (as in PHOTOSHOP, ILLUSTRATOR and other track-based programs) to prevent further, erroneous activity on a Track you’ve already gotten perfect?

    Thanks, DAVE

You can only lock events, not tracks.
Select the events you wish to lock, audio must be included as well) and then right-click and select “Switches – Lock”.

Highlight all the media on that track then right click and select lock. It will prevent any changes to the media on that track but wont prevent adding more media to it.
I don’t see a way to lock an entire track but there might be a better way than mine someone else may know.
