  Making your video move faster?

  Hi Guys,

  I have Vegas Pro8 and working on a DVD project. I need to make the sunset move fast, very fast, like it’s dropping from the sky. I know how to speed up the process by grabbing the end of the last frame and pressing the Ctrl key down while I drag the footage to the left until it stops. I need to make it faster so the sunset drops to the earth and melts in the background. Any ideas?

  Insert a Velocity Envelope. This will speed it up a further 300%. You can then render this out and repeat the process of Ctrl and the Velocity Envelope again. By this time we are well over the 1000% speeding-up. I’ve done Sped-up walks through London Streetscape the same way – marvellous!
