3d model problems in AE :
Hey guys,
Currently I am trying to create a 3d room, but im encountering major problems! :< The room I am building will consist of part flat images and part 3d objects. The walls on the side, and some posters are all flat images converted into 3d. I also found a way to import my .3ds files in photoshop, and make it a photoshop 3d layer. (It's a comfy couch by the way). Now when I import this new layer into AE as a composition, I get a new comp with a null object to control it. I copied the null and psd file into my 'room' comp and tried to position it. This is where I hit my roadblock: First, it seems that my couch seems to be moving differently in relation to the comp's camera than the flat images. How can I make them move exactly the same in relation to the camera? Second, if I 'cross' the couch with the walls, e.g. I move it behind the wall. It doesn't vanish, and it doesn't 'half vanish' if I cross section them. Can any of you guys help with this problem? Oh, my version is CS4, if that might help.
