    Hello..
I’ve been unable to import video files that i’ve downloaded from the internet, they are .avi format
clips that I record on my computer, in .avi work fine
when I drag the downloaded clips in there’s the crossed out circle, with no explanation.
    any ideas?

An AVI is only a wrapper for what is inside it. Download the free utility G-Spot and drag your “avi” file onto it and it should tell you just what the “avi” has got inside. Once you’ve done that then get back here with your findings. You may very well not have the codec on your system to allow Vegas to recognise nor open it.

    Grazie
