  What is the relationship between ProType Titler’s timeline… and the Main Timeline?

  Hey guys,

  I notice something: all the FX modules and Media Generators in Pro 9 have a little button that says SYNCH CURSOR.

  This allows you to keyframe the FX module while simultaneously observing the timeline’s progress on the main timeline.

  So far, so good, right?

  But I notice that the timeline on the ProType Titler has no such button. Its timeline is completely different from that of the main Timeline, with no apparent way (that I have found anyway) to synch up your Titler with your main Timeline.

  What is up with this? I’m finding the keyframing of the Titler to be hellishly difficult and unpredicatable.

  Surely Vegas is not expecting the User to always do math to ascertain the relationship between the two timelines??

  Yup. Unfortunately there is no relation between the ProType timeline and Vegas timeline which makes it next to impossible to use for anything that requires precise timing unless you want to do the math.
