  Render 8 channels audio MXF to 4 channels

  Hi,
  I download MXF files from Immix which sometimes have 8 channels audio (inwhich only 4 are used by the way). I normally import it into Final Cut Pro with Sony XDCam Transfer, but that one doesn’t seem to accept 8 channels.

  So I tried a workaround with my Vegas (7). Importing the MXF and then render it to MXF again, (bringing it back from 24bit to 16 bit), but I can’t seem to influence the number of channels. The output is still 8…

  Anyone ane idea how to decrease the number of channels?
