  Which video formats can be uploaded with Sony Vegas 9.0

  Newbie needs help!
  I created a screen capture video with sound on camtasia in .avi format.
  When I try to import it Vegas shuts off.
  I converted the file into .wmv and when I try to import it it gives me an error message.

  Does anyone know what format should I record with camtasia so that it’s supported in vegas?

  Also, what video formats can Vegas import?

  Which version of Vegas? Camtasia?
  We use Camtasia 4, 5, 6 every day with Vegas 8 and 9.
  Use the techsmith codec for best results.
  If you’ve got antivirus running, that’ll kill Vegas pretty quickly.

  Thanks for responding.
  I use Camtasia 6 and Vegas Pro 9.0.

  Do you recommend that I disable antivirus when running Vegas or completely uninstall it?
