My DVD printer finally died. It had a good life. Now I need some recommendations on what printer to replace it with. I do not do a lot of these things, maybe 10-15 month so I don’t need an expensive multiple printer, just a single feed one. My last was an Epson and it worked very well. What models are out there forsale now and is the most dependable and the easieast on ink?

I am currently using the Epson R280s and it has been good to me. I bought a few of them when the local Circuit City closed. A new printer was cheaper than the ink replacement cartridges.

Same here, I bought an Epson R280 on Black Friday at the Epson online store for $39. Cheaper than ink. I use Ridata white printable DVD-R and BD-R. Change the inner hub setting to 21mm in the Epson software to print closer to the center hub.

    Hi Greg,

I’m presently using the Epson R1800 which is discontinued and replaced by the R1900. Here’s the link too B&H Photo for Epson printers.
