  Painfull Solution

  The solution was simple.

  Formatting the Primary Partition and a complete reinstall of the OS and now everything works fine.

  Additional I found the solution for my problem with “dissapearing” pictures through previewing and / or rendering:

  Vegas Pro x64 build 895 – pics dissapear randomly
  opening the same project in
  Vegas Pro x86 build 896 – everything is like it should be. perfect!

  This is seemingly an issue with large jpeg files and RAM. I’ve had to play with the dynamic RAM settings on a per-project basis.
  Occasionally, they’ll even not render correctly. :^(
