  dual display- source/record

  I’m using Vegas Pro 8.

  A few months ago someone posted destails on setting up a trimmer-record display. I did it. I liked it. But now I’m on a new computer and don’t have it set up and can’t remember how to do it.

  This is the setup seen in the Sony ads for Vegas Pro 9.

  Would someone please remind me of the steps for this set up.

  Try View | Trimmer (Alt+2) and then dock the window next to the preview window. Then use the Show Video Monitor button in the trimmer to view it like a second monitor. This last step only works with Vegas Pro 8.0c (Vegas Pro 8.1 doesn’t have this feature because it’s based on the older 8.0b).
