Sorry to be posting so much.
I’m trying desperately to find out why

    • 1. Vegas 9 crashes so much with a “not responding” message and
    • 2. Why my video preview is so jerky despite having a 8 gigs of ram and 4×2.66″GHz core processors.

I’m using windows7 64bit and have the same problems using both Vegas 32bit or 64bit.

I also get this message occasionally. Is this a clue to something?

Hmmm… that message seems to indicate that something is not right with your video display drivers. I would download the latest drivers from your video card manufacturer and update them.

That is a wonderful idea which I had not thought of. I will try that. Thank goodness for this forum. I do appreciate everyone pitching in to help with problems.
