  Vegas Pro 8 – Print to tape – drop out

  recently upgraded from Vegas 6 to 8 and around this time I started experiencing Video?/Audio drop out when printing to tape.

  the drop out is like a slow down of the audio for a second.

  Sometimes I won’t get a drop out, other times I’ll get one or two a hour.

  I make sure the network is unplugged turn off the virus checker before printing to tape.

  It occurs weather going though a canopus box or direct to a DVcam recorder …

  any ideas, is there a secret setting somewhere I’m missing …
