Render multi track audio to individual tracks
Let me try my best to be as detailed as I can with out getting boring.. I need some help with rendering individual audio tracks to single individual Mono tracks.
Right now I have an earlier version of Vegas and I am thinking of upgrading to 8 or 9 but there is one feature I need is to be able to take multiple audio (tracks) files (all the same sample rate and bit rate) off a multi-track hard disk recorder Import them in to Vegas and do all the edits I need and when finished, I want to render them to single mono individual files to load back in to the multi track recorder for mixing.
I know I can now render each track individually for example I take track 1 and export that track with the edits to track 01 and then I do this for each track.. and finally get all the tracks complete and edited.
What I want to do is be able to take the final edited tracks select the ones that I want to render High light them and export all of them to individual mono files but for some reason I can not find anything on the Sony website to see if I can do this..
If there are any recording or audio guys out here that have found a way to do this I’d love to hear from you.. but I am not going to upgrade unless the program will allow me to do this..

Take a look at the free VASST Trackalizer. I beleive it will do exactly what you want and it works in any version of Vegas from Vegas 6 through Vegas Pro 9.0. It’s part of the VASST Freeware collection.
I wrote it to address exactly the problem you are trying to solve. 😉

Thanks, this tool looks very interesting.. is the download a trial version or a full version? Is there a fee?
I will be interested to give it a try.. it has been a pain to do all the edits I do in multiple tracks and then have to render them one by one. I don’t do much processing with the files, mostly just clean up or align the tracks… Once I see how it works I’ll definitely spread the word… -

Hi John, I downloaded the program.. great idea and looks easy to use.. so, thank you very much (I see your also a musician so you have probably struggled with Vegas short comings as I had). I was able to get it installed with my version of Vegas, but a friend said he has Vegas Pro 8 (which it works with) but with 9 it didn’t show him the option in 9 when he installed it. I am wondering if it may be that because he has both 8 and 9 installed it just didn’t see 9? Is there a way he can add it manually to his version 9?
