  Vegas froze. I had to restore the Preferences

  Vegas froze up, and my project would load, but it would not play, so I had to reset the program (CTRL + SHIFT on opening). Now all my preferences are reset to the default, and I cannot remember what settings I had.

  With Vegas and the OS on C:\, and with D:\ being the data array (RAID 0), what should I leave as the default, and what should I move to D:\? (All backups are external via USB).

  Can anyone please let me know how I would configure the preferences for best performance? Specifically, would I put my Temporary Files Folder on C:\ (because that is where Vegas lives)? Or on D:\ (because that is where my data lives)?
