No video on AVI file in Vegas
Hi.
I’m editing a video with different file formats and just did a check with all the different formats to see if they all work fine. Unfortunately I discovered an AVI file that plays fine on VLC and Windows Media Player, but won’t work on Sony Vegas. I have the latest version and when I drop the file on the timeline, there’s no video. I also tried converting it, but they all ended up being just a black screen.

Any help would be highly appreciated!

They play fine for me. This is probably because I have the x264vfw codec installed and the video is H.264. Get it… install it… you should see your video fine in Vegas after that.
