  • Changing Crossfade/Transition Length in Multi-Camera Editing

    Vista, Vegas Pro 8.0.

I just did my first multi-camera edit project. Very cool. Only issue I had was that the transitions are all 1 sec. How do I change the setting to a 2 or 3 or whatever length transition I want it to insert when changing from one camera to the next?

    Thank you for your help.

    Hi,
    From the manual:

Holding the Ctrl key while choosing a take will create a crossfade instead of a cut, with the alignment and duration determined by the Cut-to-overlap conversion settings from the Editing tab of the Preferences dialog.

    Hope that helps.
