  color corrector problems

  I have recently started having trouble using the color corrector in Vegas 8. When using the eyedropper to select the white/black/neutrals, it resets all the values to zero. Even if I manually move the settings, then use the eyedropper, it resets the values to zero. This has worked normally before and I have not made any recent changes to my ‘puter. I’m running Vista Home Premium.

  I also dled the demo version of Vegas 9. The same thing happens w/color corrector on that version as well. Did I miss something or accidentally set something wrong?

  Does Vegas reset the settings of the color correction fx immediatly? Or after closing and re-opening the FX window? Or after closing and re-opening the project?

  Do you apply the color correction fx to an event, a track or a whole project?

  This happens on an event/clip, not whole track or project. It resets immediately. If I manually change the numbers, I can click on the eyedropper, move to the clip in preview window, click on the color, and as soon as I click on the color, it resets the value to zero.

  Ok, I think it is clear now. Normally when I use the pipet, I do not first enter a value. But if you like to do that, you have to press ENTER after adding a value. Then using the pipet will not set the value back to zero.
