I use Vegas Pro 8. Output to an .avi file. Converter .avi file to .flv file using Allok software. Upload .flv to https://www.Chicago3Media.com

When it streams on the website, it makes any type of faster movement look wavy or strobing.

I have tried outputting to different files from Vegas Pro 8 but does not make a difference.

When I take the .avi file and made a DVD and play it on the dvd player and watch it on t.v., there is no problem.

When I play the .flv file on my computer before uploading, there is just a very little bit of wavy/strobe effect.

    Any ideas would be helpful.

    Thank you

It sounds like your question should be directed to Allok software. It seems everything is OK until that software processes the file.

Thank you Bob. If the software converter company can’t resolve it, it there a conversion software that you are familiar with that will do a very nice job with streaming videos as .flv files?

I’ve tried other converters and the allok seemed to be the best, but I know you are a professional and know the right things to use.

Try Super. It’s free, and it encodes great FLV or SWF files. Go to https://www.bigbytevideo.us and check out the SWF banner. All those little clips were made with Super.

What software should be used to convert .avi files to .flv files to steam video. What I have now does not work correctly.

You can use Super to encode to encode .avi files to .flv, and then find a tutorial on the ‘net to teach you how to write an HTML file to insert the video on your site with a player interface. Here is an open-source player I just found:

    https://flowplayer.org/

Good luck! When you get it done, put up a link so we can see the finished video!
