  Codec recommendation please

  I have a client that wants to edit a project in Vegas. He hired us to capture his Digibeta tape. Since we are Mac based, we’ve captured it to Prores 422(HQ). He wants it in a codec that is near lossless quality (ie better than DV) but he doesn’t have the hard drive speed to deal with uncompressed video. What codec do you all recommend I transcode this capture to, keeping in mind I don’t have a PC so it needs to be a codec that QuickTime Pro for Mac can export.
