sony video effects stopped working
I am using Vegas Pro8.0B build 217 and all of my video effects have stopped working. I have tried them on various clips, in different tracks and at the track level. Nothing works. I have re-booted etc. to no avail. I’m trying to get a TV spot out for a client so any help would be greatly appreciated. It has worked fine for over a year so I don’t know what is going on.

Look at your preview window. There should be an icon over top of it that looks like a circle that is divided in half with two different shades of coloring. Click it and see if your fx shows up again.

It could be that you have set the preview window to FX BYPASSED.
On top of the preview window there are several buttons. Click on the SPLIT SCREEN VIEW button and see if your effects become visible again.Theo
