  Sony Vegas Editing Background

  Hey guys I got a really nooby question.

  How do you change the editing background for Sony Vegas 8?

  Like the way the background is darker all around in Sony Vegas 9.

  Options-Preferences-General and enable Windows XP Theme support.

  Next: Right click on your desktop, select Display Properties
  tab Appearance
  Windows and Buttons – Windows Classic Style
  Color Scheme – Standard
  Advanced – Item – 3D Objects and choose color 1

  Note: all your software will look different!

  Thanks a lot!

  But is there anyway you can change it through the program itself?

  Or can you only to change it through altering the display settings for the whole computer?

  No, it is one of the new features of Vegas 9. So it is not possible in Vegas 8. Only the indirect way.
