Hi there, I have a short time lapse clip that I am using at the start of a film, I have reduced the size on the video on screen using pan & crop and set it agaist a White background with a company logo. I want to add a border to the clip – if I use Borders in video fx it applies it to the whole frame, not the reduced frame of the video clip. What am I doing wrong?
    Regards
    Martin

Instead of using the EVENT PAN/CROP TOOL to reduce the size of the clip, you can use TRACK MOTION to do this. In that case, the BORDER FX will be around the video clip and not around the whole frame.

There’s an arrow called Pre/Post Toggle to the right of the word Border at the bottom left of the Border FX window.
Click this arrow so that it points left instead of right and it’ll now behave as desired.
